Synopsis

 People know Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) as The Mechanic. Not because of anything but because this one guy was really professional. It works like a machine that does not know the word wrong. Hence Arthur always be the best in its field. But that all changed when a tragic event happened to Arthur.

Arthur is an assassin who is very talented. Killing is not just a task for Arthur but it's been such a lifestyle. All targets successfully finished Arthur and one that has always held Arthur is that he never involves emotion, no matter what happens. When Harry (Donald Sutherland), teacher and partner Arthur, was killed, only one of which is on the head of Arthur. He had to find out who was responsible for the death of Harry.

At the same time, Steve (Ben Foster), the son of Harry, suddenly come to Arthur with the same vengeance. Steve requested that he become involved and for the first time, works by Arthur unusual. He has emotions and he started getting people who have not experienced in the hunt this time.

  A trial finally make a big change for yourself Steve, the muscular body and a healthy immune system can protect from disease makes it a new figure. The figure who eventually referred to as Captain America.
  Captain America: The First Avenger a spectacle that would bring us to the history of super heroes of Marvel creations. With the background of the world into world war, when Americans finally decided to get involved, the film begins with the discovery of a shield and finally the film flashbacks to wartime Europe.
  Marvel Studios seems to want to build a story that started the story of their heroes. The figure of Howard Stark, played by Dominic Cooper is the story of the beginning of how the family can be a consultant Stark weapons of war America's largest and will eventually link the story to figure that none other than Tony Stark is Iron Man figure.

Demand Summit Entertainment TWILIGHT Sites

The success of the movie 'Twilight' has been used a number of certain parties to make profits. A site that is located diTwilight.com eventually sued by the distributor Summit Entertainment.

These problems arise because Tom Markson, parties who have contributed to the site is illegally using the trademark to attract visitors Twilight. Summit Party accused Markson had violated copyright and unfair competition.

Previously, Markson never dikirmkan warning letters to stop the infringement ruling, but was ignored so that the case goes to court.

"The defendant used the property Twilight on its site in various ways, including posting to download recordings Twilight" Summit said in a report document as reported by E! online on Thursday (09/08/2011).

Twilight, adapted from the novel by Stephenie Meyer was produced since 2008. The fourth series of the film, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 1 will be released 18 November 2011.

2011 Summer Movies Take in a Record $4.4 Billion

The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) today announced summer 2011 box office reached a new record of $4.4 billion. Summer admissions were up an estimated 1.0% over summer 2010 to 546 million. 2011 also marked the fifth consecutive summer in which box office revenues exceeded $4 billion. (Summer is defined as running from the first full weekend in May through Labor Day of each year.)

NATO president and CEO John Fithian stated, "In the midst of 9% unemployment and a continuing weak economy, it is striking that the movie theater industry can continue to grow revenues and admissions. Along with our distribution partners, movie theaters offer compelling entertainment in state-of-the-art facilities at reasonable prices. In a weak economy or strong, the movie theater remains the first and most affordable choice in out-of-home entertainment."

Both box office and admissions have rebounded strongly since the difficult Q1 comparison with 2010. Second quarter box office outstripped the same quarter in 2010 by 4.4%. Admissions were ahead by 2%. The -21% first quarter gap has been nearly erased, with year-to-date box office behind 2010 by only 4.3% and a likely very strong fall and holiday period ahead.

The Dark Knight Cast Wants Oscar for Ledger

According to E! Online, Heather Ledger’s co-stars in The Dark Knight believe his performance is definite Oscar material. Fellow actors Christian Bale, Aaron Eckhart, and Gary Oldman all praised his performance in The Dark Knight at a press event last weekend.
Director Christopher Nolan marveled at Ledger’s preparation for the demented, chaotic Joker character. According to Nolan, he blended such influences as Charlie Chaplin, ventriloquist dummies, and Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange.
The only other actor to be awarded an acting win posthumously was Peter Finch for his role in Network (1976).

Life in a Day (Holliwood Movie)

 YouTube joins world famous filmmakers Ridley Scott and Kevin Macdonald in asking people around to world to help them create the first user-generated feature-length documentary film shot on a single day – July 24, 2010. Life in a Day is a historic global film experiment that enlists the global community to capture a moment of their lives on Saturday, July 24 and to upload that footage to www.youtube.com/lifeinaday.
Academy Award-winning director Kevin Macdonald (State of Play, Last King of Scotland, Touching the Void) will direct, bringing together the most compelling footage into a feature-length documentary film. The project will be executive produced by Ridley Scott (Robin Hood, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down) and produced by his company Scott Free Productions. Individuals whose footage makes it into the finished film will be credited as co-directors and 20 of these contributors will be flown to the 2011 Sundance Film Festival for the film’s world premiere.
Life in a Day is one of several efforts by YouTube to push the boundaries of music, art, and now film. YouTube Symphony Orchestra and the recently announced YouTube Play partnership with the Guggenheim are examples of the convergence of online video with traditional arts and Life in a Day takes this effort into the cinematic realm. The Lion King (Holliwood Movie)

Synopsis:

A heroic coming-of-age story which follows the epic adventures of a young lion cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destined role as king of the jungle. As a carefree cub, he is both excited and anxious to become king, one day, and spends his days frolicking with his pal, Nala. She tells him of the hard times and suffering that have come to the Pride Lands under Scar's reign, and beseeches him to take his place as king. With the help of Rafiki, a wise shaman baboon, Simba realizes that his father's spirit lives on in him and that he must accept the responsibility of his destined role.

Synopsis:

the franchise that has been famous for providing out of the box ideas and concepts in its movies comes up with another unique idea of its own in this epic movie. Combining fact with fiction, it shows the tale of the times when Autobots and Decepticons fought over Cybertron. Autobots’ leader, with his side just on the verge of losing in a desperate position, launches the Ark from their planet. This move has the potential of turning the tide in their favor. But on its way, the Ark gets attacked by Starscream, and as a result, it crashes on the moon of the earth. The movie then moves to earth and shows President Kennedy making his promise to take man to the moon and conquer it once and for all. Now the movie gets interesting, as it shows that man’s landing on the moon was actually to find out the mystery behind the crashed Ark. It provides nice and easy breaks from all this heavy stuff, when it shows the personal life of Sam Witwicky, and his attempts to move on from Mikaela. But these are the only breaks, as the heavy proceedings loom large. The movie again brings bigger things into action. The Autobots learn that the Cybertronian spacecraft is on the moon, and also that the Decepticons are out looking for it. With this discovery, the secrets behind the spacecraft become the key to turn the tide in anyone’s favor. After this an amazing race begins between the Autobots and Decepticons to reach the spacecrafts first.
